    Amuñonar, es colocar finsos en las tierras para delimitar las diferentes propiedades. En los para mí inolvidables tiempos d'endenantes, las gentes de mis aldeas por una cuarta de tierra en un cortinal (vega) o cualquier otro lugar de sus propiedades, digo, que por defender esta tierra que era de ellos, o algunas veces por intentar afoináila (hurtársela) a sus vecinos casi siempre estaban muy predispuestos hasta asesinarse. Sin embargo, esas mismas fincas que antaño habíanles costado grandes riñas, fogueírouxas engarradiétchas (encendidas peleas) e xangrientus achuquináus (y sangrientos asesinatos), guéi nel díe (hoy en día) están todas o casi todas abandonadas, llenas de grandes matojos, ameruxáes d'agrombus, ya faticáus d'oitres cherbes amolexáes. (Plagadas de escobas, y de muchísimas otras hierbas malas). Recuerdo que un tío mío, como muchas otras gentes de mis aldeas que se las daban d'abogainus de caleyas (abogados callejeros), que siempre andaben espatuxandu nel ataxu de lus xuzgáus, (que siempre andaban corriendo en el camino de los tribunales). Cuento que este tío mío, por la causa de que su vecino, que era un falanxistón (falangista) de apariencias, pero que tenía sus sentimientos tous fechus un chaceítrial (porquería, asco), pues tenía peores intenciones, que el rapiegu y la foina, (zorro y garduña), el chobu, l'utre ya 'l glayu. (El lobo, el buitre y el grajo). Digo qu'isti home de troya (que este hombre de mierda) un día llabrandu 'l só Eru nel cortinal d'ureán (Arando su tierra en la vega del Orejón), baltióu 'l muñón de sou xeitu, (tiró el finso de su sitio), con la reya del llabiegu (reja del arado) y lexus d' encuandicayu nel llugar dóu taba (y lejos de plantarlo en el lugar donde estaba), lu que fexu 'l mu chabascún (lo que hizo el muy cerdo), fue colocarle en terreno de mi tío casi una cuarta de más, y cuando mi tío fue a semar (sembrar) su finca, se dio cuenta de que el taimado de su vecino le había arrapiegáu (hurtado) cuaxi 'n xechu del sou Eru (casi un riego de su finca) y lejos de ir hasta su casa para llamarle al orden, mi tío que era hombre nada amigo de pedir ni dar disculpas de ninguna clase, lo que hizo medio endemoniado, fue cambiar de nuevo el finso, y en vez de colocarle en el lugar legal y antiguo que tenía, lo que se le ocurrió, fue ponerlo dentro del terreno de su vecino, otro tanto más como éste, le había intentado a él robarle. Y así uno quita y el otro pone, sin nunca encontrarse juntos los dos en sus fincas, estuvieron cambiando y descambiando los muñones de lugar más de una semana, hasta que un buen día entrambos se dieron de cara en la dicha finca, y fue entonces cuando se empezaron a pelar con las palabras, y tras de mondarse bien con éstas se dieron a las manos, y se propinaron una paliza de la que mi tío salió muy ufanado por haberla ganado. Más sin embargo las cosas no se iban a quedar así, porque su vecino al siguiente día le llevó a los tribunales, y durante varios años pleitearon por aquella cuarta de terreno, escosandoyes la corexa lus aboguéus d'Uviéu (ordeñándoles la cartera los abogados de Oviedo), y no dirigiéndose la palabra jamás en sus existencias, siendo a veces la comedia de la aldea, no abiertamente porque entrambos eran hombres bravos, pero sí lanzándoles a ellos o a sus familiares sátiras ingeniosas rebosantes de filosofía, tales como ésta que les resumiré de seguido. Encontrábame yo una mañana al lado de mi tía, que apoxentá nel sou tayuélu comu axín se lu nomaba, per ser xempri dou s'axentaba miou tía (que sentada estaba en banco preferido, como así se le nombraba por ser siempre el banquito donde se sentaba mi tía). Mazaba écha la lleichi nel botiétchu pa faer la manteiga frisca e ñidia (movía ella la leche en la bota, para hacer la manteca fresca y fina, cuando por delante de su casa pasó Maximina la Puchegona, y sonriéndose l'encalducóu ista puchena,(le hizo esta sátira). —Maza la lleichi curioxa Roxalina, pa que faigas una manteiga bona, mariétcha e nidia, que nun s'empapítche conecha 'l aboguéu d'Uviéu, pa quei gane la palmeta 'l oitre aboguéu del oitre, que tamién lu cudia lu mexor qu'algame, pos agüeyelu fae 'n miaxín nel sou piteru, fartandu 'l sou pitón que grandie ye comu 'n carneiru, ya nun tardara nunchus díes, en dir quiquiriquiandu camín d'Uviéu. (Menea la leche bien Rosalina, para que hagas una buena manteca, amarilla y fina, que no se empapice con ella el abogado de Oviedo, para que le gane la partida al otro abogado de tu contrario, que parece ser también lo cuida lo mejor que puede, pues hace un momento que le he visto en su gallinero, hartando a su mejor gallo, que ya es de grande como un carnero, y creo que no tardará muchos días, en ir cantando camino de Oviedo).

  • 19 Daves, Delmer

    1904-1977
       Delmer Daves, que con el tiempo seria uno de los hombres claves del western norteamericano, nacio en San Francisco poco antes del famoso terremoto que destruyo la ciudad. Estudiante de leyes, cuentan que sintio de repente la fascinacion del desierto. A su vuelta de una larga y solitaria estancia en tierras de Arizona con los indios Hopi y Navajo, decidio hacer cine. Un primer contacto con los estudios californianos no lo disuadieron, sin embargo, de interrumpir sus estudios universitarios, pero despues de terminar estos volvio a Hollywood, donde consiguio un contrato como guionista. Las dos peliculas mas famosas que escribio en la decada de los 30 fueron El bosque petrificado (The Petrified Forest, Archie Mayo, 1936) y Tu y yo (Love Affair, Leo McCarey, 1939). De esta ultima existe un remake, realizado tambien por Leo McCarey, en 1957, An Affair to Remember, interpretada por Cary Grant y Deborah Kerr, que en Espana se titulo, como el original, Tu y yo y que es una de las cumbres del melodrama. Su primer filme lo dirige en 1943; se trata de la pelicula de propaganda belica Destino: Tokio (Destination Tokyo), que a pesar de los condicionantes de su gestacion resulto ser una obra muy estimable. En 1950 dirige un western seminal, Flecha rota; sera el primero de los suyos y una obra fundamental para abrir nuevos senderos argumentales al genero, en este caso el de la dignidad del nativo americano. Parece que el asunto le tocaba de cerca porque es tambien guionista, aunque en esta ocasion no director, de la pelicula de Robert D. Webb, White Feather (1955), con el mismo tono reivindicativo del indio americano que Flecha rota. Toda la decada de los 50 esta dominada, en la filmografia de Delmer Daves, por el western, hasta el punto de que apenas dirige, en esa decada, peliculas que no pertenezcan al genero. Cierto es, por el contrario, que en los anos 60, en que realizara sus ultimas peliculas, se consagra casi en exclusiva al melodrama, en un registro muy diferente del que le hizo alcanzar grandes alturas como creador cinematografico, sin que eso quiera decir que estas ultimas peliculas sean desdenables. Hom bre de estilo invisible, enormemente eficaz, es sin lugar a dudas Delmer Daves uno de los grandes directores de westerns. Posee un universo propio, que le hace brillar en el terreno narrativo tanto co mo en el conceptual. Su mirada tolerante y solidaria, al tiempo que comprensiva; su consideracion del ser humano como algo lleno de flaquezas pero rico en posibilidades; la idea de camaraderia, puesta de manifiesto en las situaciones menos propicias, hacen que sus peliculas puedan servir como modelos de cine maduro, que trasciende los limites originales del genero para ahondar en la naturaleza humana. El tren de las tres y diez y El arbol del ahorcado estan a la altura de los mejores westerns nunca realizados; Flecha rota, Jubal, La ley del talion y Cowboy se acercan mucho a los mejores. Un realizador digno de un estudio detallado dentro del mundo del western y fuera de el.
